Ati-Fraud & Fair Play Policy
ANTI-FRAUD & FAIR PLAY POLICY
This Anti-Fraud & Fair Play Policy (“Policy”) explains how ELOTACTIX LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) protects the integrity of Undermawlers: Crystal War and its related services (the “Services”).
Our goal is to ensure that all users (“players”, “you”) can enjoy a fair, competitive and safe environment. This Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in those documents.
By using the Services, you agree to comply with this Policy, subject to any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
1. SCOPE AND PRINCIPLES
1.1 This Policy applies to all aspects of the Services, including:
- regular gameplay,
- cash tournaments and non-cash tournaments, where made available and permitted by applicable law, and
- any other competitive or cooperative modes we introduce.
1.2 Our core principles are:
- Fairness: all players should compete on an even footing, according to the game rules.
- Integrity: results, rankings and rewards must reflect genuine skill and effort, not cheating or abuse.
- Transparency: players should understand what is prohibited and how we enforce our rules.
- Safety: behaviour that harms, harasses or exploits others is not tolerated.
2. WHAT COUNTS AS CHEATING OR FRAUD?
The following behaviours are strictly prohibited. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive, and we will apply it reasonably and consistently in light of the purpose of this Policy.
2.1 Use of Bots, Macros and Automation
You must not:
- use bots, scripts, macros, auto-clickers or any other automated tools to play the game, perform actions, farm resources or participate in tournaments;
- use software or hardware devices that send automated input or simulate human behaviour in a way that bypasses normal gameplay.
Any automation that gives you an advantage beyond what is provided by the game client itself is considered cheating.
2.2 Account Sharing and Boosting
You must not:
- allow other people to access or play on your Account;
- play on someone else’s Account;
- participate in “boosting” services or arrangements where high-level players play on or with lower-level Accounts to artificially increase rankings, rewards or KYC-passed status.
Your Account is personal. You are responsible for all actions taken under your login, subject to any rights you may have where your Account has been compromised through no fault of your own.
2.3 Multi-Account Abuse
You must not:
- create or control multiple Accounts to gain unfair advantages (for example, to farm resources, manipulate matchmaking or tournament results, or bypass bans);
- register multiple Accounts for the same tournament or event;
- use secondary Accounts to assist your main Account in a way that other players cannot reasonably do with a single Account.
We may link Accounts based on technical and behavioural signals and treat them as multi-account abuse where appropriate.
2.4 Manipulation of Game Mechanics
You must not:
- exploit bugs, glitches or unintended mechanics (e.g. duplicating resources, bypassing limits, skipping requirements);
- artificially inflate or manipulate scores, rankings or results (e.g. win-trading, deliberate losing, collusion in tournaments);
- intentionally disconnect or abuse network issues to gain an advantage;
- use any method to bypass gameplay limits, restrictions or anti-abuse mechanisms we implement.
If you discover a bug or exploit, you must not use it for advantage and should report it to us as soon as possible.
2.5 Unauthorised Third-Party Software
You must not:
- use hacks, trainers, memory editors, debuggers, packet spoofers, VPNs specifically designed to evade regional restrictions or other technical measures used to bypass jurisdictional availability rules, or other tools that alter game code, traffic or memory;
- inject or run unauthorised code within or alongside the game client;
- reverse engineer or modify the game client or server communications for cheating or unfair purposes.
2.6 Identity Fraud and KYC Abuse
You must not:
- provide false, stolen or misleading information or documents during identity verification (KYC) or anti-money laundering (AML) checks;
- use another person’s identity or documents without their consent;
- attempt to circumvent KYC/AML requirements, prize eligibility or jurisdictional restrictions.
2.7 Collusion and Syndicates
You must not:
- collude with other players to fix or manipulate the outcome of matches, tournaments or markets (including in-game trading), especially where prizes or rankings are involved;
- form or participate in “syndicates” whose primary purpose is to rig outcomes or redistribute rewards in ways that undermine fair play.
3. OTHER UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT
3.1 Harassment and Abuse
You must not use the Services to harass, threaten, abuse, defame or discriminate against other players or our staff. Hateful or extremely offensive content is not tolerated.
3.2 Real-Money Trading (RMT)
Unless expressly authorised by us, you must not buy, sell or trade Accounts, Virtual Currency or in-game items for real money or items of real-world value, whether inside or outside the Services.
3.3 Impersonation and Misrepresentation
You must not impersonate other players, staff, or public figures, nor misrepresent your affiliation with us or any other entity.
4. HOW WE MONITOR AND INVESTIGATE
We take fair play seriously and may use a combination of automated tools and manual reviews.
4.1 Data and Telemetry
In line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law, we may collect and analyse:
- gameplay data (actions taken, timings, performance patterns);
- connection data (IP address, device identifiers, session information);
- tournament logs and match histories;
- error reports, crash logs and technical diagnostics.
This information helps us detect unusual or suspicious patterns that may indicate cheating or fraud.
We do this only to the extent reasonably necessary to protect the integrity and security of the Services and to enforce this Policy.
4.2 Automated Detection Systems
We may use automated systems to:
- flag suspicious behaviour (e.g. impossible reaction times, non-human patterns, irregular resource gains);
- detect known cheat signatures or unauthorised software;
- identify likely multi-account behaviour or account sharing.
Flags from automated systems are typically reviewed by our team before serious actions are taken.
4.3 Manual Review and Audits
We may conduct manual investigations, especially for:
- top-ranked players in tournaments;
- high-value prize winners;
- Accounts flagged repeatedly by our systems or reported by other players.
This may include more detailed analysis of:
- game replays (if available),
- logs and statistics,
- communication records related to suspicious behaviour.
4.4 Player Reports
We encourage players to report suspected cheaters or fraud via our support channels. When you report, please provide as much detail as possible (usernames, time, description of behaviour).
We will review reports, but we are not obliged to provide you with the outcome of our internal investigations, particularly where doing so would undermine fraud prevention, security, or the rights of other users.
5. ACTIONS WE MAY TAKE (BANS, SANCTIONS AND ROLLBACKS)
If we reasonably believe you have breached this Policy or engaged in cheating, fraud or other serious misconduct, we may, acting reasonably and proportionately, at our discretion and depending on severity:
5.1 In-Game Sanctions
- Issue warnings or temporary suspensions;
- Restrict access to certain features (e.g. tournaments, chat, trading);
- Reset or adjust your scores, rankings, resources or progression;
- Remove Virtual Currency or items obtained through prohibited behaviour;
- Void or adjust match results, tournament entries or leaderboards.
5.2 Tournament-Specific Actions
- Disqualify you from ongoing or past tournaments;
- Void your results and remove associated prizes (including Diamonds);
- Reallocate prizes to other eligible players or hold them back where appropriate, in accordance with the Tournament Rules and subject to applicable law;
- Bar you from entering future tournaments for a certain period or permanently.
5.3 Account-Level Actions
- Apply temporary suspensions to your Account;
- Permanently ban your Account for serious or repeated violations;
- Restrict new Account creation from your device or IP address where appropriate.
5.4 KYC, AML and Legal Actions
- Refuse or revoke KYC verification where we suspect identity fraud;
- Withhold or delay prize payments while we investigate;
- Report suspected fraud, identity theft, money laundering or other crimes to relevant authorities;
- Provide supporting evidence and logs to law enforcement or regulators where legally required.
6. APPEALS AND SUPPORT
6.1 Right to Contact Us
If you believe an action has been taken against your Account in error:
- You may contact us at support@elotactix.co.uk and request a review.
- Provide relevant details (username, date of sanction, brief explanation).
6.2 Review Process
We will review your case in a reasonable timeframe, taking into account the nature of the issue and whether fraud, cheating or security investigations are involved. We may:
- uphold the original decision,
- reduce the sanction, or
- overturn it if we find sufficient grounds.
6.3 Final Decision
Except where required by law, our decision following an appeal will be final, subject to your statutory rights and any rights to escalate complaints under applicable consumer law. Repeated or abusive appeals may not be considered.
7. RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER POLICIES
7.1 This Policy should be read together with our:
- Terms and Conditions (which govern your use of the Services and provide our general rights regarding account suspension, termination and prize conditions); and
- Privacy Policy (which explains how we collect and process data, including the data used for anti-cheat and fraud detection).
7.2 If there is any conflict between this Policy and the Terms, the Terms will generally prevail, except where this Policy sets out more specific anti-cheat provisions.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect:
- changes in our Services or security practices,
- developments in technology, or
- changes in legal or regulatory requirements.
When we make significant changes, we will indicate the updated “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice (for example, via in-game messages). Your continued use of the Services after such changes take effect, having had a reasonable opportunity to review the changes, constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
